More than Music opened it’s doors back in September of 1988 with Nancy Shanahan as the founder and as a private piano instructor for the school. More Than Music has taught hundreds of students in the community from pre-school age into adulthood. It is always rewarding to watch the students grow from year to year at our annual spring recital. Elizabeth Maddock will be taking the helm to continue Nancy’s legacy of creating a space where students can continue to express themselves through music.

More than Music provides music lessons to children, teen and adults right at our location of 170 Tower Hill Road in North Kingstown, RI. (right across from Dave’s Market).
